Boon Flair High Chair

I finally did it! I bought the Boon Flair high chair even though it cost me an arm and leg! Got mine from Ebay and can't wait to get it! My husband isn't very happy that I spent so much on a high chair when you can get a perfectly practical one from Ikea. But I like the look of it and I'm sure Lucas will love it too:) Looks like a spaceship chair!

I chose mine in Blue to match my apartment decor. But I do love the hot pink! Would definitely choose that one without a doubt if I had a baby girl:)

Wet Bags by Pat a Cake Baby

Here is my little poser- wearing his coverall by Bebe. Now on sale at David Jones!

I recently purchased Wet Bags by Pat a Cake Baby on etsy.com

These wet bags come in small or large and are so handy for day trips! They clip onto your pram and away we go. Great for storing wet/dirty clothes or baby things:) Comes in so many patterns it's hard to choose! I bought a large in the Disco Dot and a small in Juicy Jungle. So adorable!

I also purchased this wrap for Lucas but he manages to get out of it somehow! Otherwise it's a snuggly wrap for winter!

My shopping didn't stop there! I got the Diaper Diddie which has a special built in plush minky to make baby more comfy during changes:)

I put this on top of my pram liner and Lucas loves to sleep on it!

Best Baby Bath Towel

Winter is here and taking baths with baby is getting a bit chilly. I have a little rubber ducky that measures the temperature of the water (Lucas likes it quite warm) so makes my life easier!

Want to share with you my favourite bath towels!

Aden & Anais Hooded Bath Towel was my first purchase and it was very practical and such a big size so it covers his whole body. However I'm a sucker for all things with cute patterns so I really love the Bath Towel by Dwell Studio (below). It comes in many patterns, the one I have is the Owls Sky design. The inside lining is a fluffy terry cloth material and the outside is a cotton material. It is very luxurious and hence the big price tag of $79.95 from The Hip Infant. It is perfect for winter and keeps my baby warm and snug while I dry and change him. I highly recommend it!

Sweet dreams baby! haha I really wonder what babies dream about?

Practical Shoes and Heels

My trusty Birkenstocks! I wear this when I am in a hurry to get out the door with baby strapped to my chest, handbag on my shoulder which leaves me with two hands free. Ok, I need at least one hand to push the pram- but sometimes I can nudge it along with my hips when I need to carry my groceries- which looks a bit funny to some people. Not very funny to me.

These shoes have been with me when I went for my (last) holiday to Japan and lasted right through my pregnancy till now. It's a bit beaten and black but it's still the most comfortable thing to wear on my feet right now. I am not sure what I am going to do when winter comes. I might still be wearing them and freeze my toes off if I don't find a pair of equally comfy boots soon!

So I went to do a bit of speedy shoe shopping while baby was sleeping in the pram. But of course I don't find boots. Instead, I stumble on a Nine West sale at David Jones and bought two pairs of really not practical shoes......

I was so indecisive that I bought two of the same shoes in different colours. Lucas was waking up and was going to scream the whole department store down if I don't feed him soon. So I quickly grabbed both and didn't think twice about it until later at home when I realised I won't be wearing them to anywhere, anytime soon.

Another pair of not very practical shoes but I LOVE it! I was so close to buying them online during a midnight feed and my eyes were drooping and blurry from scanning pages and pages of shoes from Steve Madden.com and then realising that they don't ship to Australia. I guess it was a good thing.

Impulse Buys

Was walking around town and spotted Marc Jacobs "Daisy" perfume on the stands. It was pink and the flowers looked so pretty- I am a sucker for packaging. So I bought it! I have no idea when I will actually wear it. I worry that the smell is too strong for my baby. At least it looks pretty sitting on my dresser!

How cute is this? I love Pacman! Another impulse buy- Pacman wall decals for Lucas's room when we move house in August. I bought mine from Etsy. Or should I go for a Super Mario theme?

High on Shopping

I am having shopping withdrawal symptoms- I beg my sister, my sister in law, my mother in law and I'm even considering asking my neighbours (who I met once in the elevator) to look after Lucas so I can go out and get some retail therapy. I even ask my husband if he needs me to go out to pump petrol in the middle of the night- so I can score some mags or lollies at the petrol station. I thought my shopping habits were bad before I was a mum. Now it's really to the point of desperation just to go out and pull out my card and give it a swipe over and over again!

How to ease my retail hunger? Thank goodness for the internet. I can still get some shopping done although it's not instant gratification but I plan to do a bit of shopping online every few days so I get something in the mail ...every few days! Yay!

Been obsessed with these two sites-
My Rocking Wardrobe- Japanese and Korean fashion for kids and mummies
Kawaii Kids- Japanese and Korean fashion and stationery

It's so adorable! I wish I have a girl now. All those cute clothes make me want to go "make" another baby and hope its a girl! ahahhaa I wish boys could get away with cutesy stuff without looking pansy! Baby boys fashion only goes as far as stripes and cars. Maybe Lucas can get away with polka dots?

If you know any good sites please share!
